We believe Miss Renee has come to the end of the awards season style road. The Big Night is mere hours away and that means that a gal who has a rigid sense of what she will and won’t wear has probably run out of options at this point. She’s saving the last of the good stuff for this weekend, which means a quick jaunt over to Paris just before the revelry starts…

… has left her somewhat bereft of choices that fit her preferences. We give her credit for stepping ever so slightly outside her column skirt’d box, but we’re not sure this ruffled option is doing her much good. The bodice is nice, but the skirt is a bit of a mess. We feel this might have worked better in a color. On the pro side, the shoes are nice and while we still find her fondness for formal ponytails odd and mostly wrong for her, we think this is an instance where her preference for a clean face suits the look. And the ring is great. Girlfriend does not want to hear about earrings, so it’s good to see her opting for other forms of statement jewelry lately.
