Because God knows trying to explain the combination of a funk suit, granny sweater, pearls, and Mary Janes is beyond our capabilities. Even more inexplicable: the extent to which he’s actually pulling this unlikely combination off. Being a pop star with great hair allows one to get away with a lot of seriously goofy fashion choices.
Jokes and wonderment aside, it should be noted that his black ribbon is presumed to be in reference to Caroline Flack’s suicide.
