Lily won this one, hands down. Sorry, Jane. Your outfit is lovely (insert large asterisk here), but Lily’s is eye-catching and dazzling and interesting.

It’s a sort of mature lady style showdown; two fairly iconic styles for mature women that tend to sit near the top of the list of options: Lady Who Lunches (all scarves and bright colors and crisply fitted, perfectly coordinated ensembles) and Boho Queen (rich textiles, boldly unusual colors, lots of black accents and enormous folk or costume jewelry). Each is perfectly suited to the wearer.

But good lord, Jane. The cut of those pants is terrible. Thank you for getting arrested on our behalf so much, so please consider this our way of repaying you: do not ever wear those again.

Lily’s jacket is a stunner.
