The Tay news of the day is that she turns thirty today – which, Happy Birthday and congratulations on all your accomplishments, celebrity with whom we have an imaginary relationship – and also that she gave a bit of a barn-burner of a speech at this event. We, shallow bitches that we are, have more frivolous concerns:

Like that fact that Miss Woman here looks kind of fantastic.

We can see the argument that it has too many chains. We’re certainly not in love with the pieces dangling on either side of the crotch. And the cut of the pants is not an easy one to pull off – although we’d argue she’s doing pretty well with them, helped by an appropriately chunky pair of eye-catching shoes that coordinate perfectly with the outfit. This feels grownup, stylish and chic, with just the right amount of glamour to it. We’re not super-crazy about the hair, but it’s definitely not the focus of the look.
