Kittens! We managed to bestow our loving attention on the first night’s attendees, but we are very behind on our Shmemmys red carpet judging because we had some travel time and meetings to attend because we are very important people who do very important things! Which is why all of these stars should listen to our harsh but loving judgments. Join us, won’t you?

He looks like he just stepped out of the fitting room to ask us what we think. We think it needs to be better fitted and we think he needs to finish getting dressed before he steps out on a red carpet.

Hate the shape and style of this dress, but we have to admit, she’s well suited to it. The shimmer and her styling give it red carpet-ready appeal.

Love the jewelry, hair and makeup, but this look isn’t really working for us. The high vamp and long toe box of those kitten heels just doesn’t work well with that length of hem. The sleeves look unfinished somehow and the length is kind of odd. The shape suits her great and if this had long sleeved and a floor length skirt with a lit, it would be just about perfect. Even so, can’t say we love the pearl beading all that much.

It’s another fancy realtor look (and our fairy blogsisters the Fug Girls turned out to have made the same joke about Lisa Kudrow’s suit), which tells us that the HillarySuit is finally dead and we’ve moved on to Fancy Realtor Chic. Bitchery aside, we do love the jacket.

Fantastic gown for her. She makes a very good muse for Posen.

We love a good ombre effect, but the transitions and colors are just a bit harsh, although we suspect we’re alone in thinking that.

We don’t love monotone menswear looks, but this is freaking fabulous. He looks great.

We could copy the caption from Carice Van Houten’s pictures and just put it here. Don’t love the style, but it really works for her and the shimmery bronze looks amazing.

The great thing about Natasha is that it’s incredibly easy to imagine she’s laughing and saying “Look at me! I’m inflating here!” She’s so right for this look because she absolutely knows how to enjoy the absurdities of fashion.

Can’t argue with any of that.

We guess it’s a little basic in style and color, but it’s hard to argue with the results. The fit could be just a bit better, but she looks great otherwise. Possibly more statement-making jewelry and a stronger lip or would that turn it into a Barbie look?
