We were going to put this look up to a vote but opted not to in the end, because we chose to focus only on the good parts. The more we look at this, head to toe, the more we’re coming around on it. But in order to think as we do on these matters, you’re going to have to deploy your selective delusion skills. Just pretend you can’t see the sleeves at all, darlings.
Our initial thoughts were that it was heavy-looking and oddly shaped. Both of those observations remain true, but in our minds, they’re canceled out by our growing love for how off-beat and eye-catching a look this really is – and how particularly well-suited to it she is. It’s got a sort of Prince-esque feel to it, without any of the Romantic or Edwardian allusions. We love her hair and her earrings, especially in tandem with this outfit. It’s a cute, sharp, unique look and she’s pulling it off.
DO NOT LOOK AT THE SLEEVES THEY ARE NOT THERE IT’S AN ILLUSION.
