Miss Sophie’s style takes a shocking turn we could not have predicted! Also: Joe did okay for himself!
They’re Beetlejuicing!
But that’s not the surprising twist here. No, we’re just a little bit taken aback to see her sporting something romantica and more or less elegant. Her promo style of the past few months has been decidedly high-impact, super-glamorous sex bomb looks. This isn’t exactly a quiet and demure little dress, but it’s a definite easing back on the style throttle, if that makes any sense. To us, this feels like smart promo work. In all her appearances leading up to the premiere, she was sporting head-turners; the kinds of looks that sucked up all the light and oxygen in the room. This dress, while definitely visually and texturally interesting, has a bit more of a high-fashion feel. She’s lucky enough that she can bounce back and forth from “sex siren” to “haute couture model” with virtually no effort.
Love the skirt, LOVE the belt. The bodice sits a bit too low on her, though. We might not have loved his shirt on its own, but it’s cute to see him coordinating with her for her big night.
