Liam Hemsworth covers the May/June 2019 issue of GQ Australia magazine photographed by Carter Smith and styled by Andrew T. Vottero.
On carefully choosing his projects: “I’m extremely picky about what I want to do,” he says. “There’s a lot of stuff that gets made that’s not great. I don’t enjoy the job if I’m doing it for money or for the sake of working. I love movies so I don’t want to make bad ones. I’ve never really regretted not doing something,” he adds. “I feel like I’ve always made the right decision. But there’s been a few over the years that I’ve turned down and then you see it get made and…it was what it was.”
On tying the knot with Miley Cyrus: “It doesn’t change the relationship, it’s a more connected, deeper version of your relationship before you got married. But it’s still the same thing,” says Hemsworth. “When you experience what we experienced, together with someone, it is like glue,” Cyrus told Vanity Fair earlier this year. “You’re the only two people in the world who can understand.”
