More shots from J Lo’s stripper heist movie with the costume design that suggests that J Lo pretty much always dresses like a stripper. Seriously, it’s getting hard to see any difference from her costumes in this film – which are all kind of fun and seem to be pretty on point for the style of film – and what she tends to wear in her day to day working life.
Kiki’s working that animal-print short hand in a lot of modern costume design, which tends to be the kind of look reserved for your basic stripper/mafia wife type of character. Which is a bit funny, because that kind of look is so often underlined as “tacky” in movie or TV costume design, but the fashion world tends to keep sending it down the runway season after season.
We bet Lili plays the stripper with the heart of gold. Just look at those puffy sleeves and Barbie-pink nails.
