This sat in a folder on our desktop yesterday, all lonely and sad because no one wanted to judge it. Actually, that’s not entirely true. It’s just that our judgments are so basic that we weren’t sure it was worth highlighting. After all, it’s “just” a cute dress.
And what more do a couple of bitches like us have to say about a cute dress than “Hey, look at this cute dress!” But that seems a little unfair to said cute dress, not to mention its wearer. If we only highlighted the jawdropping and the hideous, we’d be operating at the extremes and not rewarding those folks who quietly got the job done correctly, right? So here’s to you, Miss Emma. You nailed this one to the wall. It’s one of your best looks yet, we think.
Having said that, the Captain America shoulder treatment gets more distracting the longer we look at it. We realize without that little twist, this goes straight into Little Orphan Annie territory. A little modernity was needed here. But that little strip of exposed skin on the side looks awkward when she turns.
