That’s our Kimmy, always running a good idea into the ground. Yesterday’s vintage Alaia catsuit was a fun little fashion detour. We kinda wish she’d left things there, but that it not the Kimmy way. Brace yourself for CATSUIT PLUS.
Or minus, as the case may be.
Look, hate us if you must, but we still kind of respect this choice for being perfectly on-brand, showing a willingness to wear some edgy vintage during the most fashionable time and place on the calendar/globe. It’s ridiculous. It’s tacky. But it’s also classic Alaia and it’s Paris Fashion Week. If she wore this to lunch in L.A., we might have gone straight to high dudgeon, but we’ve gotta respect a player who knows the game. Even tacky fashion has a history and she just may be the best living docent of that history we have.
