Pope Tilda seems to have given up her bishop’s robes for something a little more serious if not downright witchy in tone as of late and we’re sorry to say, it’s not her look.

We have a hard time with accepting the pontiff in a turtleneck, but the gold boots really make the look. We don’t think the items pair up all that well. The buttons in the pants are fighting with the buttons in the jacket and the turtleneck peeking out all over makes it feel like a random choice. It’s a strange thing to say about an all-black look, but we don’t think it’s very well coordinated.

This is a little better and has that sort of priestly vibe to it that she seems to like, but it’s still a bit dreary for her. The more we consider both of these looks the more we think she’s a bad match for Chanel. There’s a heaviness to the house style that doesn’t suit her very well. She needs minimalism, structure, and a sense of lightness or drape in her garments.
