Miss Taraji’s got a new movie out and a new accolade to add to her list. To no one’s surprise – no one who follows these sorts of things anyway – she brought her A style game to the proceedings.

We complain a lot about boobular dresses with too-wide necklines and we’ll continue that tradition here, but with a twist. We don’t mind the width and depth of the neckline. We just wish the bust fit a tiny bit better to give her gals some space to breathe. Aside from that, we have no quibbles. The category is Movie Star Glam and girlfriend brought it.

Jesus do we ever hate that skirt.

Sorry, but we had to get that out first. That hem is awful. We’d hate it in any instance because we have a thing about asymmetrical hems generally, but we can admit that they sometimes work on an otherwise minimalist design. But a hem like that having to fight with pleats and mesh? You’re asking too much of the universe.  It’s a shame, because aside from that silly hem, this is a really sharp look.
