To celebrate her Spring 2019 debut collection for Kate Spade New York, Creative Director Nicola Glass tapped actresses Julia Garner (“Ozark”), Sadie Sink (“Stranger Things”) and KiKi Layne (“If Beale Street Could Talk”), to star in all Kate Spade New York campaigns for 2019. The three new faces personify Glass’s brand promise of optimistic femininity: empowered confidence with an easy, sunny sensibility.
The campaign was shot by famed photographer and long-time brand collaborator, Tim Walker, a master of narrative pictures and surrealist portraits who first worked with the brand from 1999-2006 under Kate and Andy Spade, and who will shoot all campaigns in 2019. The campaign was styled by Sara Moonves.
Inspired by the idea of a spontaneous gathering of friends and the joyful, spirited celebrations that ensue, the intimate moments of a girl’s weekend away is the backdrop for the Spring 2019 campaign, bringing to life the optimistically feminine world at the heart of Nicola Glass’s new vision for the brand.
