Call us crazy if you must, but we’re surprised to find that we actually like this look quite a bit.
Perhaps we’re just responding to the relative demureness and simplicity of this look in comparison to the gigantic poof that J Lo showed up wearing. Sure, this is kind of a silly frock too, but it feels way more on-point for a rom com because it’s cute and slightly witty instead of completely over the top in a drag ball sort of way. We’re not crazy about the color and we wish the design of the rest of the dress was as focused as the rose element, but it’s sassy and sexy and it’s styled really well, with the gold sandals and diamonds elevating the glam factor and the severe hair acting as a counterpoint to all the whimsy. No, we really do like this one, even if we find ourselves amazed by that.
