Duchess Megs dashes out for a last-minute meet-and-greet before the holidays hit and she can get the hell away from all the press drama surrounding both of her families. Her style? Neutral, of course. Neutral and belted.

That’s a gorgeous coat, but gray doesn’t make for the best color choice when being photographed under English skies in the morning. And a slim-fit belted coat makes an odd choice for a pregnant woman. But Megs has her style preferences and dammit, she is going to hold fast to them. Girlfriend must be feeling the need for consistency and stability anywhere she can find it right now. Can’t say we like any other part of the outfit, though. The dress feels too formal in style and yet too sloppy in appearance. Taking in the look book shot of the dress, it seems pretty clear that it offers her no room or give for a pregnant body, leaving it pulling and wrinkling all over the front. A shame, because the pretty floral was a nice choice and a decent way for her to stick to the fairly colorless pieces while still offering some visual interest. But that dress is wrong for her right now and slightly odd for the setting. The pale rose clutch is a nice touch that bumps up the pink undertones of the dress, but the beige pumps bug a little. The last thing this look needed was another neutral color.
