Justin Theroux, Felicity Jones and Armie Hammer at the “On the Basis of Sex” DC Screening

We keep pushing this post further and further down the roster and honestly, we feel a little bad about that. This is a movie we support and a cast we mostly like. And on the fashion front, we’d say they’re all fairly on point.

The problem is, there are no surprises and little to discuss about their look. Theroux is wearing his usual uniform. We have to assume he and Aniston had one closet the size of a phone booth holding both of their wardrobes, considering how limited their tastes tend to be. The white pantsuit has become a visual and style shorthand for a certain politico-woman undertone, thanks to Hillary who established the look and Melania, who co-opted the look. Felicity’s has a slightly more upscale, glamorous feel, which is perfect for the red carpet. She’s very smart not to fall into the trap of sporting little black dresses with white collars for this one. Armie’s offering his usual Lazy Prepster look. It’s tired, but he clearly has no other preferences.
