You guys, we’re sorry to have to hit you with this first thing Monday morning, but we’ve been sitting on this one for half the weekend and we simply must get this good and discussed, bright and early. Those of you who are reading this at a later date and time, possibly some gentle, snowfall-dappled winter afternoon to come, we are again very sorry to have to disrupt it like this. Now brace yourselves. J Lo did a fashion thing.

Okay, if there’s someone out there who had “Wednesday Addams” as Jenny’s next likely style inspiration, please accept our check in the amount of one million dollars, because you surely deserve it.

This of course raises that classic style question regarding dressing certain ways when you’re several decades into your adulthood:

Just because you can, should you?

We, old wizened pros at the fashion blogging game, have no opinion to offer on the age appropriateness of this. We do, however, think the style is an odd choice, just for being so twee and dainty in a way she never has been. This is as classic a case of “Girl, That’s Not Your Dress” as we’ve ever encountered. This is Ariana cosplay –  and girlfriend? You are too fierce to be doing that. Keep the boots. Get yourself a tiny little black dress that’s more your style to go with them.
