Stars should certainly be allowed to evolve over time and she seems pretty happy with herself, but we’ve gotta say, we barely recognize Miss Gwen anymore. That’s not a plastic surgery crack; just an observation that she pretty much shaved all the edges away on her public persona.
This is Katy Perry circa 2012 fare. That’s not exactly a compliment, even though we have a soft spot for ol’ Katy. Like we said, it’s fine that she’s found a career path that keeps her in the spotlight. That’s a near-impossible thing for most female music artists after 35. She’s like a Disney Princess version of a pop star now. Whatever works, we suppose. Get your dollar bills where you can. But we really hate this dress. It’s just a silly-looking thing. It looks like Olive Oyl’s wedding gown, which turns out not be as awesome as it sounds. And while we’re not opposed to sparkle, she’s sporting a LOT for a talk show – and we’re not convinced it’s the right kind of jewelry for this dress anyway.
