Just look at all this gorgeousness. We tried to come up with a pithier, wittier opening than that, but why get flowery about it? These two look stunning.
We don’t know if they came together or just happened to be on the red carpet at the same time, but they sure do look fantastic as a pair. Their outfits are perfectly coordinated, whether deliberate or not.
Chadwick Boseman in Calvin Klein
No, we can’t explain it. And we’ve decided it might ruin things if we try. All we know is this: none of this is supposed to work together and it all looks incredible on him. We’d be jealous, except we’re not actually dying to wear any of these pieces. We know our fashion lanes. We’re just happy to see him having so much fun and making these looks work. More please.
Danai Gurira in Poiret
To be fair, we don’t like the dress at all. She’s got the bearing to make us overlook a pretty awkward frock and focus on the styling instead. The dress itself is too random and asymmetrical, with an awkwardly high neckline that makes it look like a hair salon smock. It’s the hair and jewelry that makes the look. That, her gorgeousness, and the brilliance of that red, which looks amazing on her, add up to a look way more than the sum of its parts.
