In some ways, we think it’s a bit unfair to subject this look to a vote, simply because we’re pretty sure which way the voting’s going to go.
Yes. That certainly is a lot, darlings. But we’re half okay with it, which is not a ringing endorsement, we realize, but she seems to have two basic style modes: Primly simple minimalism or surprisingly sexy goofiness. This is clearly the latter, but it’s also one of the better versions of this style. The red looks amazing on her. We don’t mind the plunge of the neckline, although we’re not nuts about the way it’s squared off on the bottom. We might be convinced on the split sleeves, but never on the hanging cuffs. We suppose there’s at least one easily identified reason why we don’t hate this as much as we might: It’s not a boring prairie dress. We’ve had enough of those to last us a while.
Besides, it’s the only other single red carpet look we’re featuring today so it gets the vote treatment by default. Transparency in blogging, kittens!
