Red Carpet Rundown: The 2018 GQ Men of the Year Celebration

Posted on December 07, 2018

Kittens let’s all celebrate the men of the year by judging them! And all the ladies who showed up to support them!

Camila Mendes

Honestly? We like this more than you’d think. We’re not loving the matchy pink top and we think the hem of those pants call for sandalks, but the pants are fun and the look is extremely head-turning.

Charli XCX

Meh. It’s such a stale look. You can do better, girl.

Cole Sprouse

We still loathe turtlenecks, but we’ve gotta give him credit for working such a bold, bright look. Not so much on the square-toed shoes, though.

Daniel Levy

Adorable and impeccable. The stripes go a long way in selling that turtleneck to us.

Dominique Jackson

Her red carpet style appears to be fairly classic ’70s/’80s glamour. The hair, makeup, jewelry and poise are doing a lot to sell a basic frock.

Henry Golding in Dior

The collapsing shirt placket makes us all eye-twitchy, but everything else looks so great that we can’t stay mad at him.

Indya Moore

We’re not sure the hair-flowers work with it, but the color and pleating on the gown is dramatic.

Joe Keery

We know this kind of look is his thing, but it just looks awful to our eyes.

John David Washington

LOVE the coat. Everything is so gorgeously impeccable that we’re choosing to ignore the too-long pants.

Mj Rodriguez

It”s kind of fun, but we just can’t sign off on that many feathers. It starts to get a little muppety past a certain point.

Patrick Schwarzenegger

Just what the fuck do you call this, mister?

Stephan James

Love him for going there, but everything’s just a bit too tight.
