It’s Monday morning and we’ve got some deeply questionable celebrity fashion choices in the pipeline for later, so let’s just focus on the pretty for now, darlings. Because when these pics came floating into our collective view, we both blurted out the same thing in near unison (because we’ve been married forever and such topics comprise 90 percent of our day-to-day lives):
“What a GORGEOUS dress!”
And that’s coming from two queens who’ve had more than their say on the topic of floaty, modest prairie-style dresses in sweetly pretty colors, i.e., we’re a bit sick of them now.
But this is simply striking, in a stunning color story that looks amazing on her. It’s over-ruffled, but we don’t mind them up around the neckline. It’s the ones on the sleeves and skirts that should be edited out. It’s the only complaint we have, though. The style really looks fresh on her, the colors bring it to life on her, and the styling does nothing to fight it while remaining distinct and right for her. It’s a pretty perfect look all around, we’d say.
