Hate us if you must, but we actually love the bucket hat and hoops. In fact, we were really disappointed when we scrolled down and didn’t see her in a pair of ’90s-style high-heeled sneakers to complete the look.
In fact, we don’t think the shoes or bag are working here. We don’t love python prints but the hat and dress are fun and both look great on her. Add some funky or slightly off-beat accessories and we’d have been praising the look to the rafters. But that sudden smack of conventionality in the footwear is a bit surprising and the matchy little doll bag is kind of silly. But like so many of Ri’s iffy style choices, it all works way better than you’d expect because of the wearer.
