We could pretend like we have some sort of issue with this look or that we’re torn over it, but the simple fact of the matter is …
We love it. We suppose there could be an argument that the yellow is unflattering and the color scheme of the floral pattern and design is a bit kitcheny in tone. Maybe you’d like to argue that the straps are too heavy and distracting or that her hair and makeup aren’t up to the task. We would be happy to entertain any of these critiques against this dress, but we’ve already made up our minds on it. We think it’s boldly bright with darkly dramatic undertones that bump up the formality. We also think the slightly retro style really suits her, as does the slightly cartoonish tone. But what we think doesn’t matter, as shocking as that prospect is to us. You’re the ones who get to make the final call, just for the fun of it.
