Darlings, a bunch of incredible celebrity ladies wore outfits that ranged from incredibly bad to incredibly good and celebrated incredible women!
Now about those outfits…
Alison Brie in Brock Collection
Sweetie, no. You are wearing a bed and breakfast in dress form. That is so not fabulous. Also that tight-as-hell bodice has nothing to do with that skirt.
Amber Heard in Saint Laurent
It seems a bit unfair to say that Evan Rachel Wood wants her look back, but it’s hard to look at such a sharp, sleekly rendered ladytux and not think of the lady who popularized its renaissance. Either way, this is pretty spectacular, but everything looks too small on her.
Anna Kendrick in Ralph & Russo
The length is terrible and the muddy pewter/bronze color story doesn’t help her in pictures.
Charlize Theron in Giambattista Valli
Lady, WHAT is going on here? The neckline is horrible, the waist is horrible, the hem length is horrible and that casket-liner of a skirt is an abomination. What a terrible dress. Also: your earrinsg don’t go.
Gabrielle Union in Salvatore Ferragamo
She’s clearly feeling a need to be a little slicked-back and stripped of fuss. We can get behind that, but these items all feel somewhat randomly paired up. Great coat and bag, but those pants dominate the whole look.
Pretty. Gets the job done. Hate the unlined waist area.
We respect this gal’s commitment to always going full-turbo glam, but this feels pretty off, considering the setting.
Pleasant surprise of the evening: Tiffany Haddish is the most chic, most glam, most on-point woman in the room. She nailed the hell out of this one.
