Darlings, have you been binge-watching The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina all weekend? Us too. Need a place to chat about it? Here you go. We will be offering our thoughts of the entire season later this week, but so far, it’s creepy, surprisingly feminist Satan-worshipping fun. And the costume design is gorgeous, from the Valentino-like dresses of the Weird Sisters to the endless cute sweaters of Sabrina to Harvey’s crop top.
And speaking of cute fashion, here’s the Girl of the Hour, taking a little victory lap in – What else? – a cute, stylish manner:
Adorbs.
One of the cozier things about the show’s aesthetic is just how much it leans into its late-fall setting; not only by peppering every scene with pumpkins and turkeys and scarecrows, but also by dressing the entire cast in autumnal tones. It’s a smart way to frame the look of the show and it happens to look great on most of the cast. We tend to see this look as an extension of that – or maybe Kiernan’s that rare star who dresses weather and season-appropriate.
