Kerry Washington Bundles Up at “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”

Considering how far we are into fall, we were surprised when we realized just how little a certain fall style tradition among the celebrity set had not quite launched yet. We’re talking about coat porn, darlings. There’s been a dearth of it. Are the houses not handing out coats with the same frequency they once did? Are the celebs not finding them necessary when making their east coast poledance stops? It’s been chilly enough this last ten days. We feel like we’d have shown you a dozen covetable pieces of high-end outerwear by now. This feels like it means something; like when the bee population started dying off.

Anyway, here’s Miss Kerry, helping us correct the situation by sporting a really cute coat:

We’re way over Millennial Pink, but it looks great paired with the black jeans and picked up again in the boots. The slight lavender hue of the sweater looks pretty with it, even if it does smack of spring, if we’re thinking traditionally. It’s a current runway-born trend to sport pastels and un-autumnal colors in fall, so she’s keeping it fresh. It’s just a really cute walking-in-the-door look for a celebugal.

Celebrities, come out to play and show us your coats. We’ll be kind, we promise. Haha. No, we won’t.
