Once again, our cornucopia of leftover lewks is overflowing, darlings. A lot of celebs wore a lot of fashion and stepped out on a lot of red carpets this week. Let’s give their efforts the attention they deserve, aka, the bare minimum.
We don’t want to shit on a style just because it’s not dressy or formal. Plenty of film festivals call for street wear rather than gowns. Our issue here is with the weird pairing of snow boots and a sleeveless, floaty smock.
We bow down to thee, pale goddess in a pantsuit.
Look at Miss Brooke, getting all sassy in her style! This is cute, but the shoes are a bit much.
Busy Philipps in Claudia Li
SERIOUSLY HIDEOUS. Look, we get it if an actress doesn’t want to glam herself up all the time, but going the Lena Dunham-esque deliberately-ugly route will never, ever be a good idea.
Can’t really argue with a classic (although the suit seems a bit snug).
Love the suit, hate the platforms and the bag.
Eleanor Tomlinson in Tom Ford
We bow down to thee, curly-haired goddess in a pantsuit.
Jennifer Garner in Lanvin
We get if she wants to shoot for a sportier look while she promotes her camping-based series, but that top is awful.
Go home, Hamm.
Kristen Bell in Victoria Beckham
Elegant and inarguable.
Rosamund Pike and Jamie Dornan
She looks a bit underplayed, but nothing bugs too much, not even the fringe. He’s as cute as he always is, but we’d swear this is the only outfit he owns.
Storm Reid in Emporio Armani
We think both Farmiga sisters have a knack for weird fashion, but this is weird in a not-good, totally unflattering sort of way.
More bitchery to come in Part TWO.
