Carrie Underwood in Tadashi Shoji at the 2018 CMT Artists of the Year Awards

Posted on October 18, 2018

We won’t deny that the red carpet pickins’ today are a bit on the slim side, but that’s to Miss Carrie’s benefit, because we might’ve skipped past this look on a busier day and now she gets the benefit of our undivided attention so we can point out everything she did wrong. What a lucky lady!

Aw, we’re just teasing. She’s bringing a little of that Country Barbie Glam to her preggo style and that seems about as on-point as on-point gets. The color looks spectacular on her and her team did a great job finding and presumably fitting a non-maternity dress that works this well. Tadashi Shoji has a bit of a history fitting plus-sized ladystars to great effect and it looks like his universally flattering styles can be purposed as maternity wear. Can’t say we love the tulip-style hem, but every bitch has their breaking point, darlings.
