Kittens, we need a little relaxation time and perhaps some French toast after kicking off the day with another massive costume design post. We’re gonna go do those things while Miss Natalie steps up to dazzle and distract you all.
Do we love this? The collective “we,” that is.
We, Tom and Lorenzo, are a bit torn. While it’s fun to see her step out of her First Ladyish Dior styles and into something to remind us all that she’s a movie star, we’re not convinced this really suits her (check out that cringe-worthy modesty panel) or plays to her strengths. Some gals can really handle a lot of silhouette, but she doesn’t seem to be one of them. The accentuated shoulders (and plunging neckline, clearly) just aren’t her. Plus it just seems kind of heavy and “holiday” in tone for this time of year. We love the idea of her going all high-fashion glam, especially for the promotion of this film, but we don’t think this route was quite the way to go.
