Darlings, in case you hadn’t noticed, we are being hit with a metric fuck-tonne of red carpetry right now, between New York Fashion Week parties and the Toronto Film Festival. But we would be remiss if we didn’t take a moment to turn our eyes Venice-ward and pay some attention to the hard work of Miss Naomi Watts as her time on the judges’ panel comes to a close in high style.
And by “pay attention,” we mean “put it up to a vote as to whether her outfit is working or not.”
We think this is pretty bold and takes some amazing pictures. We tend to be wary of slightly juvenile or twee elements like butterflies, especially if they’re really prominent in the design. But this is really eye-catching, despite our preferences. If anything, it’s the neckline/shoulder treatment that truly bugs and truly comes off a little too young for such a sophisticated design. Honestly, we could go either way on this one. You make the call, kittens:
