For goodness’ sake, will someone please rescue poor Lily here from the depths of our content folders? Poor girl’s been standing around in draft form on the T Lo Opinion Pipeline for days now. The thing is, the very quality we wanted to single out for discussion in this look is the very one that kept getting it bumped for more discussable looks of various types. That quality? It’s just … pretty:
It’s not some jaw-dropping lewk in the high-fashion mode. We’re not even sure it’s as put-together as we’d like. That belt sure seems like an iffy idea. Seems to us the dress is much better off without a belt at all. This one’s supposed to skim the waist, not define it.
But we put these pics aside for some spotlight time a few days back for the simple reason that we thought she looked kind of cute, in a week and setting where high-impact glam was grabbing all the attention. We’d normally hate that ruffle, but she has a knack for making romantic details look fresh and the lack of color lends it a less frivolous or juvenile tone.
There. You’ve been assessed, dear. Off you go.
