Miss Taraji’s been on so many promo outings lately, we’re pretty sure we’re about 3 or 4 outfits behind already and will probably be another half-dozen behind by the time we get to the end of this post. Every once in a while, she gets stuck in a fussy fashion rut, but lately she seems to doing a good job of bouncing back and forth between giving herself a break with the easy stuff and challenging herself a little with the edgy stuff.

If she started belting out “The sun’ll come out tomorrow…” it wouldn’t seem remotely out of place. Trust Miss Taraji to manage a fresh update on Little Orphan Annie realness. It’s barely more than an oversized shirt, but the trim and the sandals do a lot to make it cute. Maybe not the most high-fashion look, but a really photogenic one that plays up her exuberant side.

Although her exuberant side is no less a factor when she’s in super-serious high-fashion, it seems. Love the dress, but it’s a bit much for a morning show. The jacket is certainly interesting but it looks really odd worn that way over the dress. Yes, we get that the design is supposed to be odd, but the top and the bottom really aren’t speaking to each other in a meaningful way. She looks like she’s wearing several outfits at once.
