It occurs to us that it’s never a bad idea to give Miss Judith a meaty-as-hell guest role at least once a TV season. Not only will she rack up attention, praise and nominations for her work, but she’ll then get to parade around during Emmys week, feeling the hell out of herself and serving as a living example of quiet self-confidence and bend-all-the-light-toward-you charisma. Our point is that we stan and she is our queen and it doesn’t even matter much what she’s wearing here because of those two facts.

Okay, we lied. We still care about what she’s wearing because we can only be as God made us. She’s always looked fabulous in pantsuits, not least because she treats them as if they were ball gowns. By that we mean she doesn’t seem to think of them as casual fall backs but as one of her go-to looks that can swing from practical to glamorous depending on her mood and styling choices. Our only quibble here is that we wish the pants had an inch taken off the hem.

Poise, bitches. She can take a basic Hillarysuit and an even more basic LBD, stand against some bland corporate logo-branded backdrops, and serve you nothing but drama and personality. Like a drag queen except with a far more subdued and practical set of style tastes.
