Pop Style Opinionfest: Where Does Project Runway Go From Here?

Posted on September 14, 2018

Well, come on. Did you really think we weren’t going to have a ton of things to say about the most significant development IN PROJECT RUNWAY HISTORY? The funny thing is, we had plans to do a podcast on this very topic before we’d even heard the news that Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum have left the show behind on gone onto the greener pastures of Amazon. But since they skipped town and Zac Posen followed shortly after, it would seem the very fate of the show’s existence, not to mention how it could possibly continue hangs in the air. And where on earth is Nina in all this? Silently biding her time, it would seem.

We talk all about what this all might mean, including what we think Heidi and Tim are planning for their new venture (and why we think it sounds like an awful idea), whether or not Nina is still in the game, and what the show can do going forward in order to re-establish itself as a reality TV classic. One thing’s for sure: Andy Cohen’s gotta get out there and do some major ass-kissing.

But before we even get to that little deep dive, Lorenzo wants to tell you all about his latest subtitled obsession, the German series Babylon Berlin on Netflix. Also: We both had a few choice words about the ultra goofy and kind of lame series premiere of American Horror Story: Apocalypse.

Lots of TeeVee Tawk this week, darlings! As always, thank you for your support, your time, and (God knows) your patience.
