Julianne Moore Keeps it Sweeping and Dramatic in Salvatore Ferragamo at the Green Carpet Fashion Awards

Nothing so much here as a hearty and heartfelt “ATTALADY.” Sure, this might not look like much on the surface:

But we think it’s breezy, fun and 1970-hostess-fabulous, which is a style arena for which she’s particularly well-suited. More important: it represents more evidence that she’s fully out of her “ugly, complicated black thing with clunky black shoes” phase. It was very “NY fashion editor” in a lot of ways, but it had really started to get stale by its 5th or 6th year (which was about five or six years ago). Anyway, we love to see her embracing sweep and color, since she’s so right for them and always has been. Love the bold jewelry, but the earrings and cocktail rings don’t have much to do with each other. They shouldn’t match, but they should harmonize, if that makes any sense.
