Give it up for a gal who really knows how to declare herself on a red carpet.
When Miss Allison is at her best – and this is definitely an instance of such – she works an unfussy sort of look that feels like it was born out of experience and self-knowledge; a style that plays directly to her strengths and preferences which neatly avoids any of the elements she doesn’t think work for her. It’s always a bold color, a slinky silhouette, a lot of leg and usually no small amount of sparkle. And it’s to her credit that she expresses this look so consistently but it rarely ever feels like she’s in a rut. She keeps it fresh and on point. Our only quibble here is with the matchy accessories. We don’t mind the sandals but the bag could’ve provided more contrast.
