Kittens, we already checked the hostess with the mostest (lewk), but Rihanna invited a whole bunch of famous friends along for this party so we must all fulfill our duties by telling them whether we approve of their outfits. Come with us on a journey of mystery and surprise!
Not really. It just seemed like a great way to end that introduction.
Donald Glover in Dior Homme
We don’t want to shit all over a man’s Marvin Gaye homage, especially since he’s so well-suited for it, but the shirtless suit thing is starting to get really played out. To be fair, it looks like Dior Homme actually designed this one to be worn sans shirt. It’s a gorgeous suit and probably one of the best of his version of this look, but it’s getting stale.
Issa Rae in Valentino
Stunning. Not reinventing the wheel, but it doesn’t have to. Isn’t this how you’d want to show up looking for something called the Diamond Ball?
La La Anthony in Georgine
We don’t always like her style choices but this is really eye-catching. It’s a great (and slightly unusual) color combo to see on a red carpet and the boldness of the design makes it incredibly flattering and photogenic. We’re not really feeling the paillettes, though.
Meek Mill
A great look that would be perfect if he’d just button the jacket.
Sasha Velour
Fierce as fuck.
Tiffany Haddish in Rubin Singer
Who know Miss Lady had some Patti LaBelle realness inside her? She looks amazing.
Trevor Noah
Simply flawless. It’s not an easy look to pull off and even harder one to make look unpretentious, but he apparently was born to wear this style. It all looks amazing on him.
