As we noted last time we checked in with these two, it was clear they’d reached the goofy-ass stage of their poledance, judging by the extreme left turn some of their style choices represented. And while we’re happy to declare that Miss Evie never truly leaves the goofy-ass stage of any poledance, it’s also pretty clear that both of these stars have progressed to the next and final stage:
The exhausted stage. Seriously, they both look like they could use 12-hour naps.
And yet, despite the promo exhaustion setting in, they managed two somewhat decent outfits. If there’s any guy who can make the knit polo-and-suit combination look somewhat stylish and not like a youth pastor, it’s probably Paul Rudd. The rich color story at play here helps tremendously.
Our only true quibble is with the shoes, which should be brown.
Call us crazy, but we don’t hate this. In fact, we think it’s the least cray thing she’s worn on this tour. The thing is, what we’d call cray on other actresses winds up seeming low-key and minimalist when Miss Evangeline puts it on, due mainly to her history of wearing total clown clothes on the red carpet. Unlike most of her ensembles, when it comes time for us to mentally edit, we only have one to make: remove the rather silly second belt. There. You’re chic.
We’re taking suggestions for a hair change. We think the way she’s wearing it is kind of wrong for the execu-sexy vibe of the outfit, but we don’t feel like being cliched about it and suggesting a pony tail or even an up do. Are we thinking braid?
