Comic-Con’s not the kind of venue that really calls for the kind of picayune assessing that an “IN or OUT” vote requires, so we won’t, y’know … formally ask you to vote on this look or anything. We just would love to hear your opinions on it (as if you needed the encouraging) because we keep going back and forth on whether it works:
On the one hand, it’s all velvet. And worse, it’s in a kind of ugly minty-sage green. On the other hand, it’s designed to stand out and it does exactly that, in a venue that calls for a little boldness. She made her bona fides catering to the nerd community early in her career, so it stands to reason she’d be fairly good at working something a little sexy and bold without being tacky or too obvious about it. And strangely, that ugly shade of green seems to work for her. We can’t say we love this look, but we can understand the thinking behind it.
Now. Go ahead and tell us we’re crazy. Or brilliant, which is the preferred answer, as always.
