For someone with a factory setting of “Grace Kelly,” we ADORE that Miss January chooses to routinely go the “Fuck it. I’ma have some fun with this” route with her style choices.
Look at that face. Girlfriend is FEELING IT.
And honestly? There’s some smart styling choices on display here. No, really. The dress is … not what we’d call chic. The fabric looks cheap and the style is retro (which is her sweet spot) but tacky. But literally every other choice works to pull it together, from the ’40s hair to the cha-cha bag to the polka dot shoes. Mind you, none of these choices make it more chic. And there’s no denying that it’s costume-y. But it’s cute, it’s funny, it’s something she can work like a classic MGM star of yore, and she’s so damn thrilled with herself at the moment that we can’t help but be charmed.
