Emmy Rossum Plaids it Up in Fendi at the 2018 Sports Humanitarian Awards

Posted on July 19, 2018

We don’t tend to feature Miss Emmy as much as she probably deserves, given how consistently she’s out there hitting red carpets and making appearances. Part of the problem is that her looks for the events are fairly low-key (as they probably should be), but impeccably rendered. In other words: death for bitchy red carpet coverage. As some of the greatest celebrity style icons know, you’ve gotta give those bitches something to talk about if you want them to pay attention to you. We feel like, with this look, Emmy’s finally caught on to that fact. Why? Because it’s the one thing we’ve NEVER said about anything she’s ever worn in public: It’s a lot of look:

Granted, it doesn’t step one toe outside her basic ladylike vibe. It’s just that we’re shocked to see her working so many plaids in one look. That’s not like her. And to be honest, it’s not working for us at all. They may all be from the same collection, but that doesn’t mean they go together. This comes off like an oddly amateur-level mistake from her.
