Miss Ciara is here serving both ELEGANZA and EGG YOLK. And y’know? Both of them are working out really well for her:
That’s a near-impossible shade to pull off but it looks amazing on her. We know this period won’t last, but it wasn’t that long ago that we were bemoaning the lack of color on the red carpet to the point where even we were sick of hearing ourselves. We feel duty-bound to enjoy every boldly colorful frock that parades out in front of us right now, just because we know it won’t be long before everyone snaps back to neutrals or blacks. It’s a cycle.
Anyway, she’s not only nailing the color, but the somewhat elegant/glam – we’ll call it “eleglam” until someone makes a decent attempt to stop us – style as well. Love that she kept the styling relatively clean and uncomplicated, in service to the shape and color of that dress, which is doing 99% of the work and doesn’t need any help.
Our only quibble is with the white lining, which looks totally wrong to our eyes. Agree/disagree?
