Chloë Moretz in Stella McCartney at the 2018 Outfest Los Angeles LGBT Film Festival: IN or OUT?

Posted on July 24, 2018

We seem to be very cranky and overly critical in our opinions today, darlings. And we’d hate to tear into any lady who’s supporting the LGBTs, even if it’s just showing up in an expensive dress on a red carpet. We’re fairly certain at first glance that we hate this dress, but we’re giving you guys the opportunity to convince us otherwise. Your task will not be an easy one:

Is this dramatic, graphic, and colorful? Or is it cheesy and goofy and weird? Can it be all of those things at once? Questions, questions, kittens. We find ourselves liking the color story and also somewhat willing to be convinced on the use of digitally printed florals in a dress, but the finish is really shiny and we dislike that the prints run vertically instead of being a bit more random. It’s an unusual dress, we’ll give her that. And we think the idea of offbeat style drama at a venue like this is a sound one. But we are not feeling the overall look. Guide us toward acceptance.
