Cher in Ann Demeulemeester at the “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again” London Premiere

Posted on July 17, 2018

Cher has announced that she’ll be releasing an album of ABBA covers (because that woman hasn’t had a career this long without knowing when to milk the shit out of something) and we feel like, as gays, we are duty-bound to love and support her for this breathtakingly charitable contribution to our culture.

Unfortunately, as gays, we are also duty-bound to note that her outfit is just not all that great.

We don’t think the frayed-edges of the coat, the wide-legged pants and the lingerie top combine well at all. And we’re very confused by the sudden infusion of craft store flowers. That doesn’t strike us as terribly Cher-like. We think the coat can work, but we’d rather see it with a long skirt and a top that’s quite a bit more flattering to her than that one.

Great wig, though.
