Miss Lady, we don’t know where you’re heading, but you are clearly on your way to somewhere. This is no strolling-down-the-avenue look. This is a places-to-go-people-to-see ensemble if ever we saw one. And while we’re happy to see that she’s getting bolder and bolder with her fashion choices of late …
This is all just a bit much. We get that a certain level of loud tackiness might be called for while promoting your show about lady wrestlers in the ’80s, but as we always say, there’s good tacky and there’s bad tacky. The distinction between them usually comes down to how overdesigned the tackiness gets. In this case, it’s WAY overdesigned, from the sheer to the ruching to the drawstrings to the metallic polka dots to the belly cutout, this is a LOT of dress rendered in some flimsy-ass fabric. Edit roughly half of the aforementioned elements out of this look and it would probably work just fine and still be boldly photogenic. As it is, it looks like someone got carried away demonstrating all the sewing techniques they learned this week. And we’re pretty sure those shoes are hideous.
