We had to give Miss Zendaya a spotlight post, but don’t take it personally, ladies. YOU’RE ALL WINNERS. It’s just that none of you were as interesting as her. WE’RE JUST SAYING.
We’re also just kidding. This was a fairly stylish event, which shouldn’t be surprising, because anything with the Tiffany brand slapped onto it is going to inspire a little more in the way of effort.
Elle Fanning in Giambattista Valli Couture
This is normally the space where we’d yell about her fear of color and whine about her over-reliance on her fairy-tale looks, but we’re afraid neither are going to happen this time. We may have our own preferences and opinions as to what works best for her, but we can’t deny that this look just … works.
Greta Gerwig in Delpozo
LOVE. The colors, the print, the drama of the bodice – it all looks great on her. But we have to be bitches here and suggest that the head styling wasn’t quite up to the dress. A little more color and sparkle in that region, please.
Kendall Jenner in Elie Saab
Low-key effort, but we won’t hold that against her. Unless they’re gifting her with actual diamonds, girlfriend’s not on the clock, style-wise, if you get our drift.
No, lady. Not even you.
Love the coat, though.
Sarah Paulson in Brock Collection
Kind of a weird ensemble. Both bridal and boudoir at the same time, neither of which really suit her in any way. She needs some edge.
Well at least she knew enough to slap on some sparkle. Do NOT like the shoes, though.
