Miss Steffi continues her fashion tour of the sidewalks of New York, choosing to skip her previous style themes of Great Italian Women in History and Shady Ladies. Instead, we’re getting Equestrienne Sister-Wife Barbie and Captain Commode Cozy.
Lady Gaga in Zimmermann
It’s a look, alright. It’s also quite specifically her look, since we don’t think anyone else could possibly make the pairings of these particular items work as well as she’s making them work. It’s Gaga-specific, is what we’re trying to say. Do not attempt this at home.
We think it looks great; very striking and slightly odd, which is why it’s so well suited to her. Bit heavy for this time of year, though.
Then again, Steffi’s not the kind of gal who’s gonna do things by half-measures…
Lady Gaga in Viktor & Rolf
This is completely insane and we love it. It’s also another look that says loud and clear, “I’m Lady Gaga. This is what I do. And no one else does this quite the same way.” Message received, Miss Woman.
Although we have to say, the sash looks way too much like a necktie to us. We realize it’s silly to zero in on that one nitpick, but to be honest, it’s the only complaint we have.
