When a gal sports both walking-in and walking-out looks and they’re each eye-popping in their own way, you know she’s got an A-game style plan for this particular poledance. Good to see you back in fine, high-fashion form, Miss Annie. Not that you stopped caring or slacked off, but we haven’t seen looks this nonchalantly bold since the Les Miserables days.
Anne Hathaway makes an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” to promote her new movie, “Ocean’s 8” in NYC.
It seems like this would be perfect for October, partially because of the color scheme and partially because it looks a bit heavy for May. But this neck of the woods has seen more than its share of cold, wet days this month and orange has been an on-trend spring color for the past few years, so it’s all good. We love everything about this look but the shape of the skirt, which only looks dowdy when paired with the top. A sleeker silhouette and the removal of the giant pockets would do a lot. Still, it’s bold and bright and head-turning.
But Miss Woman really sold the message that she wasn’t fooling around when she unleashed this little Studio 54 number on us. It’s a bit much for TV, but everyone involved in this film is going to be breaking out the lewks all month, so we don’t blame her for getting a jump on things. If we want to be really nitpicky, we’d suggest a pedicure, since the dress kind of begs for one. If we want to give a contructive criticism, we’d say get rid of the waist sash altogether.
